Details & Care
Our
bestselling Mbour model is a timeless beauty that will never go out of fashion.
With this
grey version you can add a textured and luxurious look to any outfit, and the detachable gun
metal chain makes the bag extremely versatile: Use it as a cross body one day
and as a clutch the next! The three compartments will easily fit your phone,
wallet, keys and make-up, making the Mbour your ideal companion for any occasion.
The KENZINA
Clutch Mbour Crocodile Grey Polished only gets better with wear and tear
as it develops a beautiful patina look that gets more and more exquisite as
time goes on. Each KENZINA bag is unique not only because it is handmade, but
also because each animal has had its own story represented by its different
scars and patterns on its skin. The bag is treated carefully during production,
which gives it a beautiful and natural look.
Conscious luxury
The handbag
is made of skin from crocodiles that have been raised on a farm in southern
Senegal. The meat from the crocodiles is sold on to local hotels and
restaurants, thus ensuring that no part of the animal is wasted in the
production process. KENZINA uses CITES certified sustainable skin.
Although KENZINA is not Fair Trade certified, we adhere to Fair Trade
principles including full transparency, open communication and proper wages.
Details and care
Material and origin: Crocodile skin leather bag in grey, handmade
in Senegal. The bag comes with a detachable and adjustable gun metal chain (approx.
125 cm)
Colour and polish: The skin is
tanned through natural processes and dyed with powdered colour dye, and thus
the colour may vary a little. The bag is polished using a handheld ebony stick,
which also brings out the shape of the scales.
Measurements: 20 x 13 x 6 cm.
Care: KENZINA products age
beautifully with wear and tear and thus require no special treatment or impregnation.
If the bag starts looking a bit dry, simply use regular colourless leather
grease to freshen it up.
