practical elegance and solid Senegalese craftsmanship.
This snakeskin bag has
plenty of room for all your daily essentials, making it indispensable at work
as well as on the shopping spree. The bag is made of skin from wild python
snakes found in Senegal. Each bag is unique not only because it is handmade,
but also because each animal has had its own story represented by its different
scars and patterns on its skin. The bag is treated carefully during production,
which ensures that the surface of the snakeskin comes out looking both natural
and beautiful.
Conscious luxury
Our Senegalese
workshops cooperate with a special group of local hunters who have held on to
old cultural traditions. They eat the meat left behind, which means that no
part of the animal goes to waste. The skins are sustainable in that each bag is CITES certified, which
means that the species used has been studied and is not considered endangered.
All meat is eaten, so there is no wastage. We adhere to principles of sustainability, full transparency, open
communication and proper wages for our local partners in Senegal.

Material and origin: Black
snakeskin leather bag, handmade in Senegal.
Colour: The skin is tanned using
natural processes and dyed with coloured dye. The colour may vary a little.
Measurements: 36 x 45 x 15 cm.
Care: All KENZINA products age
beautifully with wear and tear. They require no special treatment or
impregnation. If the bag starts looking a bit dry, simply use regular
colourless leather grease to freshen it up.
